When a patient urgently needs blood, staff often face the same problems:
Donors get called too early or too late because staff have no reliable list to work from.
Donors are contacted again and again, sometimes many times a day, and start to tune out.
In an emergency, hospitals have no dependable system to contact eligible donors directly.
At night, families struggle when the right type, like Oβ, isn't readily on the shelf.
Many small labs and blood banks still track donors and stock in spreadsheets or on paper.
Short-staffed centres mean donors wait one to two hours, or get cancelled.
People want an easy way to check when they are able to donate again.
Flu, weather and holidays cause sudden drops, and staff scramble to cover them.
HopeAlert was built to solve exactly this coordination problem.
HopeAlert is a free donor coordination platform. It gives every blood bank, hospital, and NGO:
Keep blood type and contact details for every donor in one searchable list. Simple blood bank donor tracking software for your staff.
A 90-day blood donation eligibility tracker: see who can donate again today and who is still waiting.
An emergency blood request system. Post an urgent need and reach the right donors.
Match blood type and eligibility in seconds instead of calling down a list.
Multi-tenant blood bank software: every organization's donor data stays separate and private.
A free tool for hospitals and NGOs. No credit card, no locked features.
Get your organization set up on HopeAlert and start coordinating donors in a few steps.
Create your organization's account and get a private, branded space for your donor network.
Register existing and new donors with blood type, eligibility, and contact details in your donor tracker.
When supply runs short, post a request and reach every matching, eligible donor in your network at once.
Monitor donor availability and response in real time so your staff can plan ahead, not scramble.
Every type saves lives. Oβ and O+ are the most critical in emergencies β and here is who each type can give to.
“I didn’t want to build another tool that only well-funded hospitals could afford. If a small NGO here in Sunamganj can’t use it for free, I haven’t built the right thing.”
The full system is free. Optional support helps keep it running for the next organization.
Every organization receives the same complete workspace. No features are locked.
$0, $10, $49, or any amount you decide. Applications are reviewed within 48 hours.

HopeAlert is a free system built for blood banks, hospitals, and NGOs that need a simple way to manage their donors and handle emergency blood requests. Launched in 2026 by a single developer, here's the story and the person behind it.
HopeAlert is built for blood banks, hospitals, and NGOs that need a simple system to manage donors and handle emergency blood requests. It's a young platform β built solo, starting from scratch β looking for its first organizations to partner with.
To give every blood bank, hospital, and NGO the tools to manage donors and respond to emergencies, free of cost.
A world where every organization, regardless of size or budget, can coordinate its donors as effectively as the largest hospital network.
Each organization gets its own private, isolated donor data β HopeAlert never shares or pools it across organizations without consent.
HopeAlert is new β built from a real emergency, not a business plan. Here's where it started.
HopeAlert isn't run by a large team or a decades-old NGO. It's built and maintained by one self-taught developer who believes life-saving software shouldn't depend on a budget.

HopeAlert is powered by the generosity of individuals, corporates, and foundations. Every donation β big or small β directly funds blood banking operations.
Pick a payment method, send your gift, then enter the transaction ID below. We check each payment by hand before it counts and appears on the honour board. Every taka goes to blood banking operations.
Your name and message are public unless you choose βRemain anonymousβ. Your email and transaction ID are never displayed.
We are committed to protecting your personal information and being transparent about how we use it. Please read this carefully.
